Tim Lantz is a broadcasting veteran with experience across four decades. He began his career at the age of 17 covering school board meetings for a radio station in his hometown of Prescott, Arizona. During his career Tim has worked in radio and television as a reporter, anchor, director and writer.
He was named best newsman in 1987 by the Arizona Associated Press, won the Best Serious News Feature Reporting award from the Northern California Television and News Directors Association in 2011 and an Edward R. Murrow award in 2013 for breaking news coverage.
Tim has also spent many years in video and audio production working on projects seen on the Discovery Health Channel and other cable networks. He often publishes Internet travel documentaries which may also been seen on KFBK.com.
A classic movie buff, Tim also enjoys many kinds of music from rock to opera and is fascinated by a variety of sciences, including paleontology.
